Celebrate STEM Work

Prepared: Students, teachers, and administrators celebrate high-quality work in STEM with quarterly on-site and online exhibits.

Celebration of STEM activities can be found throughout our school. Teachers proudly display high quality student work in the classrooms, hallways, and the media center.   STEM nights are held after school to display student projects and students are given a chance to share their learning with parents and the community.  Also, we showcase student work through math and science fairs.  Students are recognized at the Lego Robotic competition held in Western North Carolina.  We communicate our celebrations and accomplishments through sources such as our school website, which has individual teacher webpages, as well as through print and social media outlets.  Our school uses local newspapers, television, Twitter, School Messenger, FaceBook, SeeSaw, and Instagram to celebrate high-quality work.

Student work is displayed throughout the school in hallways and in teacher classrooms.  Teachers celebrate high quality STEM work by displaying products as well as adding pictures to online student portfolios.

Weekly, teachers post student products on Twitter, Facebook, and the Seesaw App.
