Tech Support

Prepared: STEM teachers have regular access to maintenance support for instructional technology; IT equipment is rarely inoperable for extended periods of time.

Henderson County provides technical support regularly over the phone or in house. When teachers have technical issues, they send a request to the Digital Literacy teacher.   She responds to the issue at hand as quickly as possible. If she is unable to resolve the issue, she assigns the work order to the county's Technology Department.  Our technician visits on a weekly basis to resolve the technical issues. All issues are resolved within  24 to 48 business hours. They maintain and repair equipment when needed. They provide replacement equipment if repairs take an extended time period. Below is an example of submitted technology work orders, including date submitted, date completed, and how the issue was resolved.
